All registered players from U8-U16, who did not Fall 2025, are REQUIRED to attend a Player Evaluation. If you do not attend one of the player evaluations, you will be placed on a waitlist and we cannot guarantee you a spot for the Spring Season. Information on Player Evaluations will be communicated to you directly via Playmetrics email and on our social media platforms.

U5-U6 will usually practice 1 time per week for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

U8-U10 will usually practice 2 times per week for 1-1.5 hours each practice.

U12-U16 will usually practice 2 times per week for 1.5-2 hours each practice.

All games will be scheduled on Saturday’s with the potential of 1 or 2 weekday make-up games (if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances).

U12 home games are played at Molina Park off Del Amo Blvd on a turf field, not Heartwell Park.

U14 & U16 InterCity/JUSA teams will play away games throughout the Greater LB & OC area. Meaning, they travel to away fields. Not all games will be at Heartwell Park.

Practice times and locations for ALL divisions are ENTIRELY dependent on the coach. They will range from a 5pm start to an 8pm ending, and can be ANY day of the week.

PLAYERS WILL NOT BE MOVED TO ANOTHER TEAM TO ACCOMMODATE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS.

All requests must be made formally in writing to registrar@lbyso.org. Refunds can only be requested by the parent or guardian of the player being withdrawn. Full refunds will be returned if a player is withdrawn prior to the close of early registration. Refunds requested after early registration will be subject to a $10 administration fee. After rosters are locked on February 1st, there will be NO REFUNDS. However, the Board reserves the right to consider a refund in the event of a medical condition where a player is unable to participate in LBYSO activities. In this scenario, there will still be a $10 admin fee.

Registrations paid by credit card; refunds will be returned to the card used for registration via Playmetrics to the parent/guardian that paid. Refunds only pertain to the registration fee for the player. LBYSO will not refund any processing fees incurred by credit card or bank transactions. This may take 5-10 business days to show up on your bank statement.

The registration system will automatically provide you with the available divisions for your player based on the league age. League age is defined by the players birth year at the beginning of the "soccer year." Please refer to the US Club Soccer Age Chart to review what league age your player will be for the current season. If our system chooses an incorrect division for your player(s), please review your player’s birth date on the Player Information screen to confirm the birthdate was entered properly.

*Please note – We only have U5, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14 & U16 Divisions. If your players falls between those divisions, they will play under the next highest division. For example: U9 will play U10, U13 will play in U14, etc.
