The following COVID-19 is up to date as of August 21.
In lieu of not being able to offer a standard recreational league season, LBYSO is exploring holding a series of Skills Nights sessions. Please complete THIS SURVEY to express your interest.
Preliminary fall skills format and info, subject to change:
If you are a certified LBYSO coach, can you volunteer to help? Your child would be admitted at no cost. You are welcome to train any age group.
As of August 14, Long Beach Parks, as guided by state, county and city guidelines has not cleared youth leagues for full competitive play. As such, we have cancelled our standard fall season. We are currently exploring offering a series of socially distanced Skills Nights as an alternative for those who want a physical activity outlet for their children.
See the information above for more details.
Our payment processor has completed issuing all spring credits. As was previously announced, you will see a credit for 75% of league fees paid after accounting for the payment processing fee. While we understand that only one week of games was played, as LBYSO is a non-profit, some costs incurred during registration, practices and through the first week must be covered.
DETAILS ON SPRING CREDITS
Coaches who submitted documentation to receive credits for the certification fees will also have those included in any fees paid for their child.
The card credit should appear by July 7.
Checks will have to be issued to a handful of individuals, including credits that failed due to invalid card info and coaching certification credits for those who did not have a child.in the league. If you are due a check refund you will be notified in a separate email after July 3.
A big THANK YOU to those who offered to donate their league fees to help offset league expenses,
