FC Long Beach is the club level organization of LBYSO.  The club fields teams from age groups U8 through U18.  More advanced LBYSO recreational players looking for a more competitive environment and more intensive training are welcome and encouraged to find out what FC Long Beach has to offer.

WHat is FC Long beach?

FC Long Beach teams compete against other club teams from all over Southern California and in regional tournaments.  Training is year round with summer and winter holiday breaks.

History

In 2006, FC Long Beach hired Mark Hervin as Technical Director to provide training for our teams and oversee the quality of the training by our coaches. Mark holds a UEFA “B” and USSF "A" coaching license and has been very instrumental in training FC Long Beach players as well as improving the level of our coaching staff.  Every season, FC Long Beach finds success by enforcing our principles and coaching philosophy to our players through our technical director and coaches.   We emphasize player development at our younger ages and stand firmly on teaching our teams how to play the game properly in our training sessions and matches.
